The product

A double-layered Italian top-grain leather strip, metal hardware, customizable laser engraving. An everyday object—in your pocket, in your bag, on your desk—that you carry with you every day.

The shape is intentionally minimal and essential. The leather strip softens with use, develops a patina at points of contact, and bears the marks of time without deteriorating.

The material

Not every leather behaves the same way over time. The choice of leather determines how the item ages, how it responds to engraving, and how long it lasts in daily use.

Top grain

Classic Line

The top layer of the leather, high quality and high durability. It develops a patina with daily use and responds to laser engraving with precision. It is the material of the Classic line Munkiy.

Split leather

Mid-range

The inner layer of the leather. More uniform surface, less prized. It does not develop the same patina nor the same laser response.

Regenerated

Composite

Manufacturing waste bound with resins. It does not age well with heavy use. If the type of leather is not indicated on the product, it is difficult to determine what you are buying.

Faux leather

Synthetic

Entirely synthetic material, also sold as "artificial leather" or "eco-leather". It deteriorates rapidly — cracking, surface peeling — and is not compatible with laser engraving.

Colors and hardware

Five available colors, each paired with specific hardware. The hardware is not interchangeable — it is chosen during production for the best color match with the leather.

Black

Silver Versatile, it pairs with any setting.

Burgundy

Matte black Deep tone, character without excess.

Red

Gold Bold presence. It softens into warmer tones with use.

Wood brown

Matte black Natural tone, visible patina over time.

Chocolate brown

Gold Warm and deep. One of the most requested colors in the collection.

Personalization with engraving

Engraving on the top grain leather strip produces a clean and permanent mark. Names, initials, dates and short phrases yield the most precise result. The simplicity of the subject enhances the naturalness of the material.

Engraving is available in three finishes: natural black on leather, gold and silver. The choice is made directly in the customizer when placing the order.
